With the ice finally leaving Friday and the weather 66°and sunny with light winds for Saturday we were able to get the docks installed. We will be officially opening up Wednesday May 14th, just a few days late due to weather delays.

The ice is starting to break up and move around. These photos are out in front of our resort in Susan Bay. Calling for thunderstorms tomorrow and warmer temps which will really help with the ice. Still hoping for an ice free Opener on Saturday!

Orr Bay almost ice free
These photos were taken on 5/5/14 of the bay in Orr. Almost completely ice free with the rest of the lake looking pretty black. Here is looking forward to an ice free opener on 5/10/14! Fingers crossed!

Ice free fishing opener!
Here it is Thursday May 1st and the ice in Orr Bay is black with lots of open water spots. With the opener 9 days away, I am predicting an ice free fishing opener for 2014.
