Although a few rain showers moved through this afternoon, the fish house was busy this evening and the sunset tonight was beautiful.

Minnow racing =fun!

Here are some photos from today's minnow races. We had racers of all ages that joined in on the fun. Although I think some of the older racers should have their minnows drug tested for steroids, LOL! I would also like to give a shoutout to Harley & Johnny for helping with the cleanup after the races. Everyone loves a minnow water bath!

Jim Carlson of Lowell, IN made the wall of fame for the second time today by following up his earlier 13" crappie with this 10" Bluegill. Both fish weighted in at just over a pound a piece!

6/10/13 Crappie

Max Aiman of Pendleton Indiana and his 13 inch Crappie. With last years early ice out the crappie bite was all but over when the fishing opener arrived. With this years late ice out the fisherman are enjoying the lack of fishing pressure on the crappie from last year.

Bear In Camp!

Well here are a few shots to change it up from all the nice fish photos we have been posting lately. These photos were taken by one of our guests Darrell Dippon on 6/9/13 of a momma bear and her two cubs that were passing through the resort and decided to see what smelled so good coming from one of our cabin decks. Once they seen that the grill was empty the headed out and left the resort. Glad Darrell was able to get some nice shots, as we do not get many bear passing through with all the good berries out in the woods this year to eat.
